Betty (June 2005 – July 3, 2019)

Betty was not a sled dog.  I did not choose her to be a sled dog and I never asked her to be one.  She was very light on her feet … as easy to walk on leash as a feather.  She was inquisitive and smart….a good jumper and very agile.  She is the last of her litter to go.  I know of only one other dog from the Mir and Cash first breeding to still be alive in 2019.  Betty is buried close to Flare who was by Paiju and Avi.  Betty and Flare were double first cousins.  Cash and Paiju were littermates.  Mir and Avi were sisters, but not from the same breeding(Mir was from the first Sage and Phantom breeding; Avi was from the second.)
